1. From the left menu, select "Index" → "Settings" to enter the index settings page.

(1) Search Day:The number of days data can be queried in the system. This parameter cannot exceed the log retention days. Selecting a smaller date range can speed up query performance. The default is 62 days.

(2) Retention Days: The number of days logs are retained in the system. Users can adjust this based on needs and disk space. The default is 9999 days.

(3) Enable Closed Indexes: Users can manually enable closed indexes as needed.

(4) Lack of Space Option: Users can choose an action when the storage space is below 110GB. When the hot data storage space is less than 20GB, actions will be taken accordingly.

  • Stop Log Collection: Log collection will stop if the storage space is checked hourly and falls below 110GB. An email notification is sent to the system administrator once every 24 hours.
Delete Index: When storage space is below 110GB, the last two days’ indexes will be deleted during the hourly check. An email notification will be sent to the system administrator within 24 hours for the deleted indexes.

(5) Data Space Reminder: Users can choose to set the alert threshold by percentage or space capacity (GB).

(6) Data Free Space Alert Lower Limit:Users can input a custom storage alert limit.

  • Percentage (%): When the remaining storage space percentage falls below the user-set threshold, an email notification is sent to the system administrator.
  • GB: When the remaining storage space is below the user-set threshold, an email notification is sent to the system administrator. The minimum threshold is 110GB.

(7) SSD( Free Space Alert Lower Limit:If users have an additional SSD mounted, they can set a hot data space alert lower limit.

  • Percentage (%):An email notification is sent to the system administrator if the remaining SSD storage percentage falls below the user-set threshold.
  • GB:When the remaining SSD storage space is below the user-set threshold, an email notification is sent to the system administrator. The minimum threshold is 20GB.

(8) Save Icon: Clicking this icon saves the settings without performing any additional actions.

(9) Unlock Icon: Clicking this icon allows saving and applying changes to the query days, retention days, and enabling closed indexes. It will also check if enough space has been freed. If sufficient, the log collection service will restart, and the lock will be released.

2. Storage Check Notification Types

(1) If the storage space is less than 14 days, a daily email notification is sent to the system administrator.

(2) If the storage space falls below the user-set storage alert threshold, a daily email notification is sent to the system administrator.

(3) When the remaining storage space reaches 110GB, and log collection is stopped or indexes are deleted, a daily email notification is sent to the system administrator.
