Service Overview
In response to the current tense international political atmosphere, the Ministry of Digital Development launched a four-year plan in 2023 to strengthen the security of public agency data. The core of this project is the "encrypted sharding" and "cross-border backup" technologies, which back up important data to different public cloud environments such as Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google cloud, etc. through advanced encryption technology to ensure that even in extreme circumstances, whether it is natural disasters such as wind and rain, fire, or even war or cyber-attacks, these data can still be safe and intact. These cut files, such as people's personal information and government confidential information, must be put together to restore them to the original files to ensure data security. Acer eDC TakenDR encrypted sharing platform adopts MFA (PIN mechanism) and 256-bit key encryption. It automatically encrypts and decrypts uploads and downloads and completes data integrity checks. After the files are split and encrypted, they are uploaded to multiple cloud storage spaces.
Service Features
Supports EDC and three major public cloud storages
Including but not limited to eDC, AWS, Google cloud, Azure and other cloud services.
Multiple redundancy mechanisms
Supports three redundant copies and one copy configuration to ensure that data integrity will not be affected if a single node is damaged.
Built-in encryption mechanism, secure transmission
Built-in support for MFA PIN mechanism, 256 bits encryption key, the key can be downloaded and saved to a third place. Upload and download are automatically encrypted and decrypted and data integrity check is completed.
Multiple data source types
No need for backup software, supports uploading multiple files and adding multi-level folders, making it convenient for users to organize files.

Service Benefits
Improve storage security: Encrypted data is distributed across different cloud storage spaces to prevent unauthorized access.
Increase redundancy to improve reliability: When a single cloud storage point fails, encrypted backup can still be restored from backups in other cloud storage points to improve system reliability.
Disaster recovery and restoration: Distributed backup Encrypted can quickly restore data from distributed backups after a disaster occurs, ensuring continuous operations.
